What should I wear?
I’ve created a simple “What to Wear” guide to help take the guesswork out of choosing an outfit. Once you book your session, I’ll send it your way with tips and ideas to help you find something that feels like you.

Where do sessions take place?
I am very flexible when it comes to location! I have a handful of favorite spots around the South Sound and Seattle area, but I’m always happy to explore somewhere new. I prefer locations with beautiful evening light and take the time to research options based on your wants and needs. Whether you’re looking for a beach, forest, open field, or something a little more urban, I’m happy to help find the right fit.

What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?
It is natural to feel that way! I’ll guide you through poses and prompts, so you know what to do, while creating a comfortable environment where you can relax and be yourself. My goal is to make sure we get the shot while still capturing genuine moments that feel like you.

Can I bring my dog/cat/horse/pet?
Of course! I loveeeeee pet photography. Pets of all kinds are always welcome, and I’m happy to help choose a location where they’ll be comfortable or meet somewhere you know they’ll be happy. Pet photos are such a great time, and I promise we'll get some great photos of you together.

What happens if it rains?
We all know the Pacific Northwest loves to be unpredictable. I’ll keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session and do my best to be prepared. Golden hour glow is always beautiful, but it’s never guaranteed. Sometimes the clouds roll in, and honestly, they can make for some pretty beautiful photos too.

If we’re looking at a downpour or dangerous weather, I’ll let you know as soon as possible, and we can look at other dates. If the weather is a little moody but still comfortable, I’m always up for capturing it! And if you’re up for embracing whatever the PNW throws our way, I’m down to make some magic.

Will my photos be shared online?
This is always your choice. I would, of course, love to showcase your session, but I completely respect your privacy. If you’re comfortable with me sharing your photos but would prefer to keep your children’s faces private, I completely respect that as well.

Once you book your session, I’ll send over an agreement where you can choose whether or not you’re comfortable with me sharing your images online.

When will I receive my photos?
I aim to deliver your gallery within 2 weeks of your session date, but I’ll always send them your way sooner if I can!

How much is a session?
I offer both half and full session options, with pricing listed below. I also occasionally offer mini sessions at a discounted price. Full senior sessions with outfit changes are priced a little differently and can be found on the senior sessions page.
